About Leader Services

In 2018, Leader Services celebrates 50 years in business. Leader has offices in Pennsylvania, California, and Washington. For the last 25 years, Leader has specialized in providing "Solutions for Education". We provide technology solutions to both LEAs and state departments of education.

Leader provides monitoring solutions, Medicaid reimbursement billing, customized state-level applications and special education management software for LEAs. Leader Services currently provides many state-level applications for Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Kansas. These solutions include monitoring of federal programs and other state and federal grants. Leader has been providing solutions for Pennsylvania since 1993, Missouri since 2006, and Kansas since 2016.

Leader also provides Medicaid billing solutions to LEAs in Pennsylvania, California, Washington, and Iowa. Leader has provided Medicaid solutions since 1993.

Leader Services created its IEPWriter web application for LEAs in 2002 and it is installed in over 540 districts. IEPWriter allows districts to efficiently manage the special education process, creating all of the forms necessary, as well as providing state reporting including the IDEA Child Count.

Leader Services also has created the BrainSteps software that built a bridge connecting the medical, rehabilitation, education sectors and families following students who have acquired brain injury (ABI). The software is currently used by Pennsylvania and Colorado.
